      Hi Henry VIII,

Because i answered this question? 🙂
      .
I kid, i think you should vote for the scientist who most impressed you over these two weeks and whos work you would like to see more! Since we have to do more outreach to schools if we win! 🙂

All the other scientists on here are all very good at what they do, all deserve to be recognised, and all have good plans for the money. It’s wrong to say that one is more important than the other! The others have good plans for the money, too!
      .
I’d have a hard time picking, personally!
      .
I think you should vote for whoever will spend the money on something you think is the most worthwhile. I’m like Jordan – we both want to do more activities with schools in our areas. Even then, we have different plans! Jordan wants to set up new an outreach program, while I want to expand and add to a tried and tested program I already take part in. I think this is good, as it means that all the money can go towards scientific stuff, rather than setting up the plan in the first place.
      .
If I were you, I’d be asking us each individual questions about why their type of outreach is the most important, and voting based off that (plus based on who you thinks answers your questions both interestingly and with good explanations!)

You should vote for the best one who you think deserves it and who you like.

Hi all who asked this question – I’m really late to answering it, sorry!
If I were to win, I’ll be using the money towards setting up science outreach events in Cornwall open to families through an organisation I volunteer with. So we’ll be able to do more things like guided walks (where you walk through an exciting area with an expert who can tell you all about the different scientific aspects behind it), or hopefully a mini-festival around urban wildlife and insects.
      .
I think you should also think about your own interests – who’s work do you find most interesting? 🙂
