Question: What do you know about a redwood tree? to me they are really interesting and large. But why are they large? Did you know a redwood tree can grow enough wood in a year to make a 30 year old oak tree? How do they do that? why are they so tall?

  I do like trees, but it is not my area of expertise. I believe that they’re so tall because they can live a long time and just keep growing! They originate on the west coast of North America, where conditions are perfect for them to keep on growing.
