I’m afraid the only stuff I know about velocity and force is what I remember from physics in high school – that you can calculate force using F=m*a (to get the “force” of a specific object, multiply its mass with its acceleration). And acceleration is basically a change in velocity, so you’re accelerating if you’re currently speeding up (e.g. speeding up from 30 miles per hour to 60 miles per hour) – this is all part of classical mechanics in physics.
What always helps when I’m trying to get an overview of a topic I don’t know much about is checking out Wikipedia (although you have to keep in mind that anyone can edit it, so you can’t just blindly trust everything – it’s definitely a good starting point though!)
So maybe if you want to know more you could check out https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classical_mechanics ? Although looking at that page, I really don’t understand what’s going on past the first few paragraphs so maybe the “simple wiki” version could help? https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classical_mechanics
