I didn’t really like it. I liked the experiments, they were cool, but so much of it was just “hey, here’s some facts we already know,” and it didn’t seem all that great.
It took quite a while for me to realise that that just isn’t the case – there is so much we don’t know, and I enjoy science because I get to find out what’s at the absolute pinnacle of human knowledge.
I really liked it personally! I didn’t really enjoy biology at first, and then when we started chemistry & physics they were my favourite sciences for a while. Unlike Oliver, I actually really enjoyed learning lots of fun facts – this is probably what got me really interested in the world around us, how it is so complex but yet we can actually explain and understand what’s going on!
In the later years of school, I started to enjoy Biology more and more, and that’s what I ended up studying as well!
