• Question: Apparently cows are part responsible for global warming, is this true?

      I don’t think cows themselves really have that big of an impact – but the meat industry in general is a large contributor to global warming. So the whole process of rearing cattle, growing food for them, and transporting their food, them, and the meat you get from them around is what has the far greater impact. This is why cutting down on meat consumption is always a top way to combat climate change 🙂
      It is true that cows also burp & fart and release methane, which is another greenhouse gas (and it looks like some people have actually studied how to feed them to make them burp less.. https://www.wired.co.uk/article/the-strange-war-against-cow-farts 😛 ), but nonetheless this isn’t as big a contributor to climate change as all other factors in the meat and dairy industry as well.
