Question: Why do u want robots to think like humans because if they do they will take over the world and we will all dieeeeee hehehe

When we talk about “thinking like humans,” think less of a 40 year old adult, and more of a somewhat clever baby!

The state of machine learning is to be fairly good at predicting things (what’s the weather next week?), and pretty good at classifying specific things (is this a picture of a dog, or a picture of a cat?). It’s a LOT harder to classify groups of things (does this picture contain a cat AND a dog?).

And then you have what we do in my group, which is try and stop humans from having to do boring things. A bored human is probably the most dangerous thing!
