• Question: Some conditions are known to be incurable. Do you think this could change in the future and all conditions and illnesses will be curable with new technology?

Sort of – I definitely believe that every condition, in theory at least, could be curable with enough research in future. Diseases like smallpox, leprosy, and even HIV which used to be a death sentence in history are now cured or at least manageable. However, I don’t really think we’ll ever reach the point where there is a cure available for every single disease or condition out there. There are just so many different ways the body could go wrong, and so many bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens that could infect us and only a limited amount of research that can be put into cures.

I think David said it perfectly. Maybe, but by the time we get there by today’s standards there will be new illnesses. It’s the kind of thing we are seeing with antibiotic resistance.
      .
A lot of the earth’s problems, like global warming, wars, etc, is also caused by people being stupid and selfish. And I don’t quite think we will find a cure for that.
