There are a lot of things we can do as both individuals and as a larger world community. As individuals, we can consume less. This can happen in a lot of ways: we can waste less, recycle more, use less electricity, use less fuel, etc. As a larger community, we need to reevaluate how we get our fuel and electricity, and look for solutions. This will likely mean moving away from carbon-producing sources of electricity and embracing renewable energy and nuclear power. We also will need to reconsider how we eat and get food (agriculture is a major source of greenhouse gases) and how we travel.
