Question: Have you ever been at the top of mount everest?

I have not, though I would like to climb in the Himalayas in the future. Summiting Everest is difficult not just because of its height, but because of the popularity of the mountain. It is very expensive to get permits in order to get to the summit, and it is also important to consider the ecological impacts to the mountain and the economic impacts on the people that live near Everest (the Sherpa people).
