      Hey Fictorian,

      Yes AIDS as a condition still exists. HIV is still very much a real thing in the world, but our understanding of the disease and avaliable treatments have come on in leaps and bounds since it was first identified. Continued public education on HIV will be a big part in reducing its spread.
